Just imagine that you are relaxing while watching your favourite shows on your phone. Some of the best TV apps provide you with plenty of great shows. And the best thing is you can learn several English words while you keep watching your favourite shows.
Cafe Converse Delhi’s top institute for learning spoken English shares some of the TV apps that will help you to master your English speaking skills.

Netflix
Available on: Android and iOS
Highlights: From Scratch | Dahmer | Love is Blind
We cannot talk about TV apps without including Netflix. Today, Netflix has one of the best services for watching English TV shows—and shows in several other languages. There are plenty of selections on Netflix and several of them have the option to add English subtitles.
Subtitles make it simple to learn because you can read the words while you hear them. The best way to practice is to play an authentic English show having English subtitles, so you learn the written and spoken words.
But if you are not quite ready for that, listen in English having subtitles in your native language. Or, there are lots of Netflix TV shows that you can watch in your native language having English subtitles.
BBC Learning English
Available on: Android and iOS
Highlights: Big Business | News Review | English in a Minute
This resource is made keeping language learners in mind, with videos that seem to be shorter and mostly more educational. The TV clips include news reports, English lessons and dialogues, and many more.
BBC Learning English allows you to view and read the transcript of the video. Try reading the transcript before watching the video to see how much you can understand. Then watch the actors and see if you can understand more the second time.
Lastly, BBC Learning English offers multiple quizzes and tests if you want to push yourself a little harder and make certain that you are learning while you watch TV.

English Club TV
Available on: Android and iOS
Highlights: ECTV News | What Did They Say? | Worth Seeing
English Club TV is completely about educational videos. Several of the videos give you English language learning tips and could help you learn grammar, spelling, and vocabulary while you watch.
This app does not have as much of a selection as the others on the list, but we wanted to include it because each video is particularly, made to help you learn English. At the end of every video, you can take a short quiz to see how much you have learned.
